Now almost 40 years later, it still gets me on my feet and Glenn Roth has again delivered! "Strain" by Elson Complex is a "minimalism" piece that could easily have been written by Daryl Shawn himself. This one really works with its repetitive, enchanting rhythym! ...

Every once in a while an artist stands out above the rest and Cim Frode does that. His slow pieces have finesse and a silky sweetness that brings both tears & a smile.
