First up is "Dwa Serduszka" by the inimitable Ulli Boegershausen! A beautiful piece reminiscent of somewhere between baroque and classical. Very unique and different! Love this!
"Black Hole Sun" is a new Glenn Roth cover of Soundgarden's hit. You know how I feel about Glenn's covers, wow! He always brings out something unique and wonderful!
"Blend" by Elson Complex is nylon string wonder with just a touch of dissonance that keeps you riveted all the way through!
"Froghollow at Night" by Joel Saunders has everything a modern fingerstyle piece should have, melody, technique, intrigue and perfect execution!
"Sunday Rain" by Chris Chambers is oh so satisfying! You can see and almost feel the gentle raindrops from the opening bars! Just sit back and slowly slide into that blissful place!
"Scarborough Fair" has been covered by many artists, yet Liad Abraham manages to find something new in how he presents it with some wonderful fingerstyle! This is perhaps the best rendition I've ever heard. Well done Liad!
"King Street" by Jeigh creates a wonderful slow walk down an intriguing street filled with visual wonders that Jeigh manages to transpose into audio delicacies. Tremendous!
"Catchin' the Sun" by Dan Bankhurst carries us all over the solar system on tasty blues licks! What a great ride!
"Reliance" by Robert Dahlstrom is slow and jazzy and just sort of melts you from top to bottom until your legs feel weak! Powerful!
"Silent Night" by Mark Kroos is a wonderful version of the classic with an unusual steady bass beat. Love this one and I'm confident it will find it's way to many playlists around the hearth and tree! Just completely joyous!
