"The most exciting playlist on Spotify" reloaded again for a great Monday morning! "This Week in Fingerstyle" curated by Daryl Shawn! Put your headphones on or AirPods in and disappear into these wonderful sounds!

First up is "Sambassador" by the multi-genre master Jürg Kindle! A wonderful samba-inspired piece by Jürg Kindle! This piece will get you up and dancing on a Monday morning! Jürg has so many wonderful new pieces lately in many different genres that it is almost impossible to keep up with this prolific artist! Enjoy this new "Sambassador" and be sure to check out his Spotify link and soak it all in!

"Slow Spun" by the incredible Maneli Jamal is a wonderful slow piece that Maneli composed attempting to reflect on the "less is more" philosophy  both to life, and the arts, and life in the arts! I'd say he accomplished his goal! A beautiful piece!

"Wings of Change" has John Clark and the Chapman Stick master Andy Salvanos teaming up to give us a beautiful soaring piece that might just  carry you all the way through to the end of the year let alone "this week". You could easily pleasantly occupying a month or more listening to nothing but these two artists on their own and to have them combined in this unusual tantalizing piece is a real treat!! Well done John & Andy!

"Stay-Instrumental" by Nylonwings (David Westin) is, as always, perfect nylon string guitar by the amazing David Westin! A symphony of sound blazes out of this piece and I love the bends on the nylon strings that give it just a touch of grit! Beautiful, unique and completely satisfying! Thank you David!

"Peaceful Lullaby" by Lance Allen & Nathan McFarland is a hauntingly and melancholic lullaby that will bring a tear to your eye as you are lulled away on clouds of melody! I love it when a piece grabs and pulls at my heartstrings and this one does it in spades! Wonderful piece Lance & Nathan!

"Brothers In Arms" is the newest cover by Casper Esmann and it sings!  I'm always impressed with the treble licks that Casper manages to make stand out and shine in the midst of harmony. It's either magic guitar or magic fingers, I haven't  figured out which yet, but I want some of that magic dust! Another perfect one Casper!

"Let Me Be What I Am" by one of my favorite artists, Agustin Amigo, is "hymn-like" but lighter and more friendly. This one would be at home in any place of worship or an intimate evening with friends & family around a warm fire!

"Willow's Wisp" by Victor Howe is signature Victor with his ability to quickly build tension, flow into a beautiful musical space and then change gears with a beautiful segue into more tension with a different feel from the first and a final beautiful resolution. I'm really impressed with Victor's mastery of different styles and his ability to use that to tell us a grand story! Well done!

"Godsend" by Pete Izzard is once again Pete playing just because he loves to play, and man can he play! With this one he gives a beautiful tribute to the most important person in his life and a look at what the future holds for them! Musically and domestically, Pete seems to "have it all" and is able to let us share a glimpse of that in the music he creates! Best wishes to you with everything in life Pete!

"September Leaves" is recognizable Ken Verheecke from the first bar! Ken has an unlimited capacity to bathe us in warmth and beauty with the beautiful sounds of his guitar and take us to a place of both seeing the beauty right before us, and also journeying to a better world! I'm hoping there is lots of Ken's beautiful guitar in that new world!

And that completes the new top ten for this week! You will now find all the past "This Week in Fingerstyle" music following this week's new ten so you can enjoy all that this wonderful playlist has brought to the world of fingerstyle! Enjoy!
