"The most exciting playlist on Spotify" reloaded again for a great Monday morning! "This Week in Fingerstyle" curated by Daryl Shawn! Put your headphones on or AirPods in and disappear into these wonderful sounds!

First up is "Bluesette" by Nicholas Russell! A wonderful bluesy/jazzy piece that just makes you feel good for that first cup of coffee on Monday morning or any other afternoon or late night. Wonderful piece!

"Hope" by Cim Frode, who is one of my new favorite artists! What a guitarist! Cim's work spans both the Celtic world and his tremendous original pieces like "Hope". With a refined and somewhat lighter touch on both the strings and the percussive techniques, this piece carries you away! Well done Cim!

"Embers" by the eclectic talent of Mathew Joseph is another in the long line of tremendous "world fusion" pieces that Mathew crafts with a brilliance and gives us just a glimpse into his musical world! Always unique, Mathew manages to again bring something that I've never heard before! This piece brings a smile while my head tilts just a bit as I try to figure out where this wonderful music has been hiding! Nicely done Mathew!

"Wild Blue Yondering" by Darling Cora. Darling has received a lot of accolades for her dynamic vocals, and her guitar work is just as fine! This is a broad vistas piece that opens up the world and has us gazing across a warm landscape. Love this!

"Longer" is another brilliant cover by the incomparable Glenn Roth! Love what he is able to do with old classics! A beautiful original song that Glenn manages to make just a little softer & warmer for a fully satisfying step down musical memory lane! Keep 'em coming Glenn!

"Wicked Game" cover by Acoustic Guitar Collective is beautiful & haunting. The nylon strings fit this theme perfectly and the result is dreamy!

"Ram on y Matilde" is a new one by the brilliant Edy Hafler! This is guitar at its best! Edy is knocking some melodies out of the park lately and this one is sweet, beautiful and resolves into what seems like a placid blue high mountain lake when the last tiny ripple reaches the shoreline! Beautiful!

"The River I Step In" by Emilio Bonito: wow, what can I say? Emilio has to be one of the most emotional of players on the stage today! His compositions have a way of tapping directly into your heart and tugging out a deep longing. One of two new tremendous tunes on his just released "The River I Step In" full album. Give them both a listen! My only regret with each new Emilio tune is that there aren't immediately ten more that I can sink my teeth into, but at least I do have this full album to see me through at least another half hour! Emilio is one of today's finest and shows it with each new release!

"Leaving" by Adam Miller adds what I think is a soft mellow banjo? to the mix and delivers some phenomenal picking and crazy-good harmonies! An abrupt ending completes this delicious tune that wraps itself around you and has you intently listening to every note!

The "Margaritaville" cover by Kurt Lanham is probably the most unique version of this fun song that I've ever heard turning it from it's usual easy strumming to beautifully crafted fingerstyle guitar! What a great way to end "This Week"!

And that completes the new top ten for this week! You will now find all the past "This Week in Fingerstyle" music following this week's new ten so you can enjoy all that this wonderful playlist has brought to the world of fingerstyle! Enjoy!
