"The most exciting playlist on Spotify" reloaded again for a great Monday morning! "This Week in Fingerstyle" curated by Daryl Shawn! Put your headphones on or AirPods in and disappear into these wonderful sounds!

First up is "Take the Flowers" by Michelle Qureshi from her latest (and perhaps best yet) album "Sage". Soft, flowing, beautiful and everything works and fits together on this song and this whole album. This is a beautiful song on a beautiful album by an artist who knows who she is and what she wants to say! What a beautiful way to wake up and enjoy the day! Did I mention that this is "beautiful"? Wonderful work Michelle!

"Cherokee Lake" by Dustin Furlow is from Dustin's latest album "Woodscapes" and its a thriller! A master at percussive technique, here he also shows he can slow it down and give us a beautiful melody! It's tough to do and Dustin delivers!

"Henry's Appreciation" by Pouya Hamidi & Maneli Jamal has one of my favorite artists (Maneli) in collaboration and creating a beautiful piece that is quite different from Maneli's frequent fireworks that are oh so thrilling. Slow and thoughtful, this is a cerebral piece in the "Neo-classical" vein. It really works and is worthy of some detailed listening & analysis. I love this one!

"Smooth Criminal" by Ali Denis Kardelen has a groove that grabs you and won't let go! Fantastic!

"For One Day" by Agustin Amigo is stunningly beautiful! Certain artists achieve a musical state as close to perfection as possible and Agustin is one of those artists! Agustin manages to find that sweet spot with his music that fits the style of many of the popular playlists, but is obviously written for the pure love of music and delivered with perfection! It just doesn't get any better than "For One Day"! Perfect!

"Square's Night Out" by Matt Harp! What a piece! There is a "jangle" in this piece that had me listening several times to figure out whether there Matt hid a 12-string in here somewhere. Technical skill just oozes throughout this piece and is delivered in a very unique style. Really amazing effect that Matt manages to create! Wow!

"Take Five" by Denis Turbide will satisfy your jazz fix for the day! Wonderfully done Denis!

"E' lei" by Pino Nuvola has a depth and texture that gives you something to chew on for a long time! Remimiscent of John Fahey, I'm off to listen to much more of Pino's music! Wonderful stuff!

"Lover" by Edward Ong marks his arrival in the Spotify universe, and one can tell we have a lot more to look forward to from Edward! I'm anxiously awaiting more! Beautiful cover!

"Evensong" closes out this week with another of Mathew Joseph's beautiful pieces. A distinctive but diverse artist, Mathew always thrills and never disappoints! A citizen of the world and a world traveler, Mathew brings the world to your ears with every new piece in a different way than ever before! This is a beautiful piece for the end of the day or any other time and brings a soft luscious end to "This Week!" Thank you Mathew!

Daryl Shawn, thank you again for making my Monday mornings a very special and exciting part of every week!
