"The most exciting playlist on Spotify" reloaded again for a great Monday morning! "This Week in Fingerstyle" curated by Daryl Shawn! Put your headphones on or AirPods in and disappear into these wonderful sounds!

First up is Casper Esmann's perfect cover of Cold Play's "Yellow"! Casper brings his unique "shimmering crystal clear sound" to make this a cover to remember! Really wonderful rendition that I will play over & over again!

"Bella Volte" by Kurt Lanham is beautiful with just a little bit of "grit" that makes it stand out and demand notice! This is easily "top ten" stuff on any radio station or playlist! Well done!

"Blue Skies" is the latest cover by Mathew Joseph! Mathew has a signature sound that I love and it makes this old classic come to life! Tremendous version!

"Synchro Destiny" by Maneli Jamal is touching with a wonderful provenance regarding the couple he wrote it for and why. I love it when an artist really digs deep into their emotions and it surfaces through the strings! Beautiful Maneli!

"From the Summer Solstice: IV. Serenity" by Richard Lenz and Duo Lenz is a modern classical that really shines!

"Another Day in Paradise" by Glenn Roth is another in a long line of tunes that Glenn has taken (Phil Collins in this instance) and made something even better. There is something wonderful about taking another tune, pairing it down to just the guitar and making it sing! Glenn has another hit!

"Wild Mountain Thyme" by Stephen Wake is a traditional Celtic tune credited to Francis McPeake that will have a familiar ring to almost everyone who has ever listened to Celtic music. Stephen is one of the current masters of Celtic music with a perfection to his phrasing and a lilt that can bring tears to your eyes and then an immediate smile! Beautiful, as always!

"Ma Lumiére" by Calum Graham, is once again, Calum Graham! You just don't get better on the guitar than Calum. Wow!

And I'm stunned to find my own (Randal L Meek) "Falling Petals" in such rarified company! This song is part of a Compilation Album on Valley View Records (Matthew Tondut) that has 15 beautiful tunes by some of today's best "Indie" artists. "Falling Petals" is dreamy, harmonics-laced solo guitar & I'm honored in so many ways. Thank you Daryl for including this piece!

And Jurg Kindle closes out this week's top ten with a JS Bach Cello Suite on steel string guitar! Classical always thrills me and few do it better than Jurg Kindle. The task of performing classical on steel string guitar is daunting to most artists and rarely attempted, but Jurg always nails it and really excelled on this Bach piece. Love this! (And released only a week after "Aquaeductus"! Wow! How do you do that? The secret is to have the talent and years of experience that Jurg Kindle has to offer!)

And that completes the new top ten for this week! As of last week you will now find all the past "This Week in Fingerstyle" music following this week's new ten so you can enjoy all that this wonderful playlist has brought to the world of fingerstyle! Enjoy!

Daryl Shawn, thank you again for making my Monday mornings a very special and exciting part of every week!

And that's it for another "This Week in Fingerstyle" by Daryl Shawn who every week puts together "the most exciting playlist on Spotify"!
